Navigating the Shift: From ActiveSG app to MyActiveSG+ (Active Wallet)

If you've been using the ActiveSG app, you're likely aware of the transition to the new MyActiveSG+ platform. This change will affect how you engage with our services, and it's crucial to understand these changes to ensure a seamless transition with minimal impact.


Changes to Active Wallet and Payments

Active Wallet consists of two components: ActiveSG Credit and MyCash.


ActiveSG Credit
  • ActiveSG Credits Migration: From 15 to 30 June, ActiveSG Credits will be transferred to the new MyActiveSG+ platform. You will be able to view your credit balance on the ActiveSG app until 30 June and on MyActiveSG+ starting from 1 July.

  • Use of ActiveSG Credits: Beginning 1 July, you can start using your ActiveSG Credits on MyActiveSG+. All ActiveSG credits will be automatically extended until 31 December 2025.

  • ActiveSG Anniversary Credits:

  • General Promotion: From 15 June to 31 August, members who log into MyActiveSG+ will receive a one-time top-up of $10 ActiveSG Anniversary Credits.

  • Beta Testers: Members who participated in the Beta version and received $5 will also receive an additional $10 ActiveSG Anniversary Credits.


MyCash
  • Top-up Cessation: The last day to top-up MyCash is 15 May.

  • Payment Methods:

  • ActiveSG app: Members can continue using credit/debit cards for payments until 30 June. Update [5 June 2024]: Credit/debit card payments will be accepted for in-app purchases only. Please note that for transactions using Active Wallet outside of in-app purchases, credit/debit card payments will not be valid.

  • MyActiveSG+: Starting 1 July, payments can be made via PayNow or credit/debit cards.

  • Decommission Date: Active Wallet will stop accepting MyCash from 15 August.

  • Refund Process: Unused MyCash as of 15 August will be refunded via PayNow-NRIC-linked bank accounts by 31 August. It's important to link your NRIC to PayNow; mobile number links are not accepted.

  • MyCash Balance: Members can check their MyCash balance in the Active Wallet on the ActiveSG app until 30 September.

  • MyCash Spend for ASG Credits Promotion: This promotion ends on 31 May. After this date, spending MyCash will no longer earn ActiveSG Credits.




How This Affects You?

This transition means you will no longer receive ActiveSG credits for spending MyCash. There's no need to top up your MyCash account; however, you can continue making payments via the Active Wallet using credit/debit cards. On the new MyActiveSG+ platform, you can also use PayNow for payments. Any unused MyCash credit will be refunded to you via PayNow-NRIC-linked bank account by 31 August 2024. For those keen to gain more ActiveSG credits, log in to the new MyActiveSG+ between 15 June and 31 August to receive $10 ActiveSG Anniversary Credits. Additionally, members who participated as Beta testers and previously received $5 will also receive an extra $10, bringing their total anniversary credit to $15.
